How we work

Our simple step by step process

At Fynex, we create bespoke finance packages tailored to you. From your first enquiry to the funds being released, here is exactly how it works, with one specialist beside you the whole way.

Step 1

Enquiry

Contact our specialists and discuss exactly what you’d like to finance.

Step 2

Application

If you decide to proceed, we submit your application to suitable lenders from our selected panel. Lender response times vary.

Step 3

Approval

Once it’s approved, you’ll receive a clear finance agreement to complete, explained in plain English.

Step 4

Payment

Once the signed agreement and required checks are complete, we coordinate with the lender and dealer so funds can be released and you can collect the car.

Preparation checklist

What you need to supply

Lenders require specific documentation to verify identity, address, and income. To keep your application moving swiftly, please have the following documents ready when you start:

  • Driving Licence: A valid UK photo card driving licence (both front and back). Address must be current.
  • Proof of Address: A utility bill, bank statement, or council tax bill dated within the last 3 months.
  • Proof of Income: Your most recent 3 months of payslips, or 3 months of business bank statements if self employed.
  • Vehicle Details: If you've found a car, the vehicle registration number (VRN), current mileage, and dealer details.

Note: Depending on the size of the loan and your credit profile, lenders may occasionally request additional information such as employment contracts or tax returns.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions

Have questions about the application or approval process? Here are answers to what clients ask most often:

Will applying affect my credit score? +

Submitting an enquiry through the website will not affect your credit score. If you choose to proceed, Fynex Finance or a lender may carry out eligibility checks and will explain whether any search is soft or hard before it happens. A hard enquiry may be placed on your credit report if you complete a formal lender application.

How long does the approval process take? +

Typically, once we submit your application across the lender panel, a decision is returned within 24 hours. Classic and supercar finance might take slightly longer if an agreed valuation is required.

Can I finance a car bought from any dealer? +

Yes, as long as the dealership is reputable and FCA registered. We coordinate directly with the dealership sales desk to pay them, meaning you don't have to manage the bank transfers yourself.

Ready to talk numbers?

No obligation and no hard sell. Just a clear conversation about the car and the figures.
